About the Role
Training will be delivered across the following nationally recognised qualifications:

AUR31120 – Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology

AUR20220 – Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning

AUR30320 – Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology

AUR30620 – Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

AUR31020 – Certificate III in Automotive Sales

This role involves delivering and assessing training both online and, in the workplace, using aXcelerate LMS.

You will engage with apprentices and trainees, employers, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality, compliant training and support learner success. Strong time management and the ability to engage and communicate effectively with students, employers, and team members are critical to success in this role, as is your currency of skill and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Induct apprentices and employers under User Choice and other government funded programs.

Negotiate, develop, and review Training Plans, quarterly.

Manage student progression to ensure students complete within the duration of their contract.

Deliver training and assessment in line with the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Outcome Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations) Instrument 2025 and the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Compliance Standards for NCVR Registered Training Organisations and Fit and Proper Person Requirements) Instrument 2025, otherwise known as the Revised Standards 2024.

Support and assess students in workplace-based environments.

Effectively schedule and manage site visits and appointments via the approved Student Management System, aXcelerate.

Participate in assessment validation and continuous improvement activities.

Stay current with industry trends, tools, and standards, including the RTO Revised Standards 2024.

Liaise professionally with employers and stakeholders.

Support students via Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and other Office 365 tools.

Contribute to, and achieve, the established KPI's.

About You

Minimum of 3-5 years recent industry experience in the automotive trade.

Current knowledge and skills relevant to automotive technology (including air conditioning).

TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Hold one or more of the relevant qualifications - AUR30320, AUR30620, AUR31020, AUR31120.

At least 1-3 years of experience working within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Experience in training students under apprenticeship and traineeship arrangements will be an advantage.

Experience engaging in RTO-specific processes like validation, moderation, enrolment compliance, and student progression tracking.

Excellent communication, digital literacy, and time management skills.

Excellent people skills with proven ability to work and excel in a multicultural environment, including First Nations People.

Conflict management skills to resolve academic-related challenges.

Confident with Microsoft 365 Suite, including Outlook, TEAMS and PowerPoint.

Experience using aXcelerate or a similar Learning Management System (LMS).

Current Australian driver’s license.

Current Blue Card.
