About the role

MainPro' is seeking a full-time Painter / Plasterer / Handyman to join our team in Brisbane. In this varied and rewarding role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our commercial and residential properties are well-maintained and in top condition. Your main role will be as plasterer / painter however other handyman work will be required from time to time.

What you'll be doing

Painting interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trims

Plastering and repairing drywall, patching holes, and smoothing surfaces

Completing general handyman duties such as assembling furniture, hanging shelves, and fixing minor plumbing and electrical issues

Performing routine property maintenance, including cleaning gutters, unblocking drains, and maintaining gardens

Identifying and addressing any safety or maintenance concerns, and reporting issues to management

Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment, and practising safe work habits

What we're looking for

Experience as a painter, plasterer, or handyman, with a strong understanding of maintenance and repair techniques

Practical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently and to a high standard

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members

A valid driver's licence

A positive, customer-focused attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service
