THE OPPORTUNITY
Hourly Rate: $82.01 - $88.60 p/h + 12% super.
Position Status: Casual.
Location: Moorabbin campus - onsite parking, close proximity to public transport.

Holmesglen is seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to deliver Cuisine and Patisserie Le Cordon Bleu programs. Join our team in presenting hands-on cooking classes that showcase the art of cuisine.
In this rewarding role, you will deliver high-quality education and training. You’ll support students throughout their learning journey, from initial enquiry to assessment, adapting your teaching to suit a variety of learning styles and needs. As an educator, you will create innovative teaching and assessment tools and maintain strong connections with industry and key stakeholders to ensure relevance and quality.

ABOUT YOU
- An approved degree, diploma, or certificate in a relevant vocational area (such as commercial cookery or patisserie), or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE40122, or an equivalent predecessor or successor qualification.
- Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check and on obtaining a National Police Check.
- Professional experience working in commercial kitchens, ideally within French cuisine and pastry environments.
- Experience in developing and delivering practical culinary training programs, with the ability to apply contemporary teaching, learning, and assessment methodologies tailored to diverse student needs.
- Strong ability to utilise ICT tools to enhance student engagement, promote independent learning strategies, and maintain effective liaison with industry to ensure course relevance and quality outcomes.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
