As a Lead Educator at Kin East, you’ll play an essential role in shaping the learning experiences of our youngest children. You will work in a supportive environment that values innovation, relationships, and excellence in early education.

Your Role:

As our Nursery Lead Educator, you will:

Deliver high-quality education and care aligned with the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Create responsive, age-appropriate learning environments that spark curiosity and support each child's development

Lead curriculum planning and collaborate with your team to ensure intentional, play-based learning experiences

Maintain accurate documentation of children's learning journeys and progress

Foster strong, respectful partnerships with families and the community

Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care

Actively participate in professional learning and reflective practice

What We’re Looking For:

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) or Bachelor of Education

Proven experience in a leadership or senior educator role in early childhood settings

Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and child development

Warm, professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team

A genuine passion for early childhood education and nurturing the whole child

Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach

Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
