Brighton Regional Doctors and Bothwell Medical Centre are looking for a passionate and capable Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join their friendly and supportive team. The position
Working Tuesday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, you’ll play a key role in supporting our General Practitioners in the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. This is a broad and engaging role with responsibilities across preventative health, chronic disease management, patient education, and care coordination.
Day-to-day duties include:
Assisting with care plans, health assessments, wound care, immunisations, ECGs, pathology collection and minor procedures
Managing recalls, coordinating infection control and cold chain protocols
Supporting patient triage, education, screening and advocacy
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and managing clinical stock and equipment
Collaborating across two locations with a supportive team and Clinical Lead RN
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity cover
Experience working in general practice or community-based nursing
Ability to work independently and across two regional clinics
Strong clinical knowledge, documentation skills, and a patient-centered approach
Great interpersonal skills and commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice
Familiarity with practice software (Medical Director, Pracsoft, HotDoc) is an advantage
Additional qualifications such as Midwifery, Asthma Education or Diabetes Education will be highly regarded
