Job Title: Area Manager – SNAP FITNESS (Concord West, Beaumont Hills & North Kellyville)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager to oversee the operations and growth of multiple gym locations.

Position Overview:

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance, profitability, and strategic direction of several gym locations within your designated area. You will lead a team of General Managers and support staff, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple gym locations, including staffing, scheduling, and facility management.

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, membership retention, and market expansion.

Train, mentor, and motivate General Managers and staff to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional customer service.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational benchmarks to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with the marketing department to execute local marketing initiatives, promotional events, and community outreach efforts.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all locations.

Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional development.

Act as a liaison between corporate headquarters and individual gym locations, providing feedback, insights, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

Minimum Certificate III & IV in Fitness or the ability to attain an equivalent qualification. No fitness qualification? We have you covered, you will be able to attain a basic fitness accreditation with us.

Current First Aid certificate and CPR (or higher qualification).

Must have appropriate police/working with children check.

Tertiary qualifications in health, business or commerce or strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in a similar environment (e.g.: fitness, retail e.tc.) will be highly regarded.

Minimum of 3-4 years of management experience in the fitness industry or a related field.

Proven track record of successfully managing multiple locations and driving business results.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with fitness management software (e.g., Glofox, Gymsale) is a plus.
