Our client, is seeking a Line Operator for their manufacturing facility in Thurgoona. Your primary role is to ensure the process line under your control runs efficiently, with minimal breakdown, producing product of the highest quality.

You will be responsible for the maintaining and maintenance of all machinery on your production line. Therefore you will require a very high level of mechanical aptitude, preferred but not essential trade qualified.

You will be working a 12 hour rotating roster, which includes two on, one off, two on, then three off.

Other specific responsibilities are as follows:

To run machines to targeted efficiencies

To assist with maintenance, lubrication and overhaul programs

To perform and record quality checks and initiate corrective action

To assist with and perform changeovers

The successful applicant will be self motivated, be prepared to take responsibility and accountability for their actions, and very much a team player.

A current forklift license would prove advantageous.
