Job Description:

Top View Maintenance is a locally owned business specialising in vegetation control and civil construction. We are currently seeking a Plant Operator/Labourer to join our friendly team, offering approx. 38+ hours per week.

The ideal candidate must have an MR truck licence and we would prefer candidates to have experience in the rail and construction industry. As safety is our number one priority it is essential the successful applicant has a safe working record and is willing to follow safe working instructions and SWMS at all times.

Responsibilities Plant Operator:

Transport equipment to site (MR Truck licence required)

Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes, and skid steers

Vegetation management such as tree clearing, slashing, spraying, and mowing

Perform routine maintenance on machinery

Read work plans and Dial Before You Dig plans

Ensure that all safety procedures are followed including equipment pre-starts

Fencing and repairs

Attend safety and rail training as required

Perform labouring duties including digging, concreting, and fencing

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Act as a spotter where required

Clean vehicles and equipment after use

Complete all necessary paperwork

Qualifications:

MR licence (if you do not have an MR licence or above please do not apply)

Safely Access Rail Corridor (SARC) qualifications - Desirable but not essential.

2 years' experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes and skid steers (Plant Operator)

Pass a medical including a drug and alcohol test prior to starting work
