We are seeking male support workers who have experience in drug and alcohol support and providing assistance to individuals facing mental health challenges.

You will be supporting individuals in a SIL setting at Coffs Harbour, NSW. Immediate Start.

Requirements:

Disability support experience OR Certificate III or IV in Disability or equivalent

NDIS Online Training Module Certificates.

COVID-19 Infection Control Certificate.

First Aid certificate.

Police Check.

Driver’s License.

Own a vehicle with comprehensive car insurance

Main Tasks:

Provide one-on-one support to clients with disabilities in their daily activities, including meal preparation, and household tasks in a SIL setting.

Transporting & accompanying clients to appointments .

Monitor and document clients' progress, behaviours, and any changes in their needs.

Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment, following all relevant health and safety protocols.

Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the broader support team.

Skills

Strong documentation skills.

Good Computer skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Compassionate and empathetic nature.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $33 – $43 per hour + Super
