About the role

Total Batteries is seeking a skilled Battery Builder, Pickup / Delivery Driver, Field Service Professional to join our motive power team in Bibra Lake, WA.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on person to learn traction battery assembly skills and processes. You will be working in a small but busy team & will assist in a range of general warehouse duties to ensure the business operates smoothly & on time.

This full-time position is responsible for building and maintaining high-quality batteries, delivering products and providing on-site field services. As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Assembling, testing, and maintaining Motive Power batteries to rigorous quality standards
• Safely delivering and installing motive power batteries and other products to customer locations
• Providing on-site field services, troubleshooting, and technical support
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborating with the wider team to identify and implement process improvements

What we're looking for

We are seeking a confident individual who considers themselves a problem solver, can work autonomously & can represent the company in a professional manner. Pride in your work & careful attention to safety & service quality is essential.

• Previous experience in a similar role within the battery industry preferred but not essential
• Strong technical skills and an understanding of battery technology and maintenance
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
• A valid LR/MR driver's license and clean driving record
• A current forklift license is required or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
