Ignite the Engine of Your Career Service Engineer - Field
Are you ready to take your engineering career beyond the ordinary-and out into the world? This role is your gateway to adventure, complex technical challenges, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact across multiple industries and borders.

Where You'll Go
From shipyards around Australia to power facilities in the Pacific Islands, offshore vessels near PNG, and engineering workshops in New Zealand-you'll bring your skills wherever they're needed most. Whether it's a two-week assignment or an eight-week engagement, you'll be part of missions that matter.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform overhauls, maintenance, and commissioning of advanced 4-stroke engines and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and solve mechanical and technical issues in the field and offshore.
• Use diagnostic and machining equipment such as honing machines, valve grinders, ultrasonic tools, turbo balancers, and more.
• Deliver accurate and insightful service reports and improvement recommendations.
• Operate with safety and quality front of mind, wherever you're working.

What to Expect
• Site-based shifts averaging 12 hours per day.
• Assignments ranging from 2 to 8 weeks (4 weeks is typical).
• A blend of workshop and field-based work-including onboard testing and sea trials.
• Predominantly team-based collaboration, with opportunities to lead solo assignments.

What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Marine Engineering-or a trade qualification such as diesel mechanics, with relevant experience.
• Based in Sydney, NSW.
• Willingness and availability to travel interstate and internationally.
• Strong team player with good communication, technical problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence.
• Familiarity with safety, compliance, and quality assurance in field-based settings.
• Proficiency in English and comfort using modern digital tools.
