About the role

We are seeking an experienced Handyman's Offsider and General Labourer to join our team at First Choice Projects in Brisbane, QLD 4000. This is a contract position, and you will be responsible for assisting our skilled handyman with a variety of maintenance and construction tasks across residential and commercial properties.

What you'll be doing

Provide general labouring support to the handyman, including carrying materials, setting up work areas, and cleaning up after tasks

Assist with minor repairs, maintenance, and handyman tasks such as painting, tiling, carpentry, and plumbing

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

Maintain a high level of workplace health and safety at all times

Ensure work sites are kept clean, tidy, and organised

Follow all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Experience as a general labourer or handyman's offsider, preferably in the trades and services industry

Ability to follow instruction.

Good practical skills and familiarity with basic tools and equipment

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks
