Absolute Storage Systems is an Australian owned business that sells storage solutions such as pallet racking, warehouse automation and material handling equipment.

Based in Dandenong South, we operate Mon-Fri and are currently looking for 2x fit and able people to work in our warehouse .

We are a small team but we punch above our weight. Service to our customers is paramount as is the right personality and fit within the team. We are looking for someone that has previous warehouse experience and ideally, experience with various hand tools such as grinders, drop saws and rattle guns. This job is varied so you will be picking and packing materials, unloading containers, building frames and other warehouse type tasks.

To ensure success with this role, extensive training will be provided on product handling, assembly and company principles and values.

OH&S is paramount to us so you can be assured you are working in a safe environment where health and safety is enforced. We have weekly tool box meetings and company wide OH&S meetings with HSR's from each department are involved.

Given the nature of our product which is oversized and heavy, the use of forklifts and other MHE is a must. Therefore the successful applicant will have a forklift license and experience. You may be require to perform a skills test during your interview to demonstrate your ability.

Ideally you will have experience with hand tools such as rattle guns, drops saws and other powered tools. If not, you must be willing to learn how to use them.

Other requirements are

Be fit and strong. There is a lot of lifting and handling of oversize products

Sound English, both written and verbal

Previous experience with Microsoft office products such as Excel, Work and Outlook

Accuracy with counting.
