About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be a key leader in the guest experience at Talk Shop and Grab & Go, guiding the F&B team on the floor during service. You’ll act as a lead host—bringing the brand to life through warm, people-first interactions and helping the team create moments of connection that feel effortless and real.

You will supervise shifts with the support of the Food & Beverage Manager or Manager on Duty, ensuring operations flow smoothly and every guest touchpoint exceeds expectations. This role is hands-on, guest-facing, and integral to the vibe of Talk Shop.

Some Key Responsibilities

Act as the lead host in Talk Shop and Grab & Go, setting the tone for genuine, unscripted guest experiences.

Run the shift, guiding and supporting the F&B team with energy, clarity, and care.

Ensure service standards are upheld while bringing individuality and creativity to the guest journey.

Demonstrate full menu and beverage knowledge, helping guests with descriptions and recommendations.

Take ownership of service recovery using the LEAST model and close the loop on any guest concerns.

Collaborate with Front Office and other departments to ensure a seamless and connected experience.

Support the delivery of small group events and activations in The Gathering Place.

Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of inclusion, fun, and continuous improvement.

Champion sustainability practices and waste reduction in day-to-day operations.

What you will bring to the role:

Experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a hotel, café, or casual dining venue

A guest-first mindset, with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Confident food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to train and guide others

A collaborative approach and willingness to support other departments when needed

A passion for bringing a brand to life through authentic service and leadership

Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holiday
