Position Overview:
The Executive Lounge Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Executive Lounge, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our VIP and executive guests. This role involves managing a dedicated team, maintaining high service standards, and creating a welcoming environment that reflects the luxury and sophistication of Swissôtel Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience: Work with the Guest Experience and Food and Beverage teams to ensure all guests receive personalised and attentive service, maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Accor Live Limitless (ALL): Be knowledgeable of the ALL (Accor Live Limitless) loyalty program and benefits. Recognise and anticipate the needs of loyalty members in the lounge, ensuring meaningful engagement and retention.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate lounge staff to deliver outstanding service, fostering a positive and professional team environment.
Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Executive Lounge, including food and beverage service, guest check-ins/check-outs, and lounge cleanliness and maintenance.
Service Standards: Maintain and enforce service standards and procedures to ensure consistency and excellence in guest experiences.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment and cost control.
Guest Relations: Address and resolve guest complaints and feedback promptly and effectively, turning challenges into opportunities for service recovery.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage, to coordinate services and enhance the overall guest experience.
Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on lounge performance, guest feedback, and staff development to senior management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel environment, preferably in a lounge or food and beverage related setting.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Opera or other PMS systems preferred, though on-the-job training available.
Familiarity with Shiji or similar F&B POS systems is desirable.
Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
A commitment to delivering high-quality guest service and exceeding expectations.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card
