About the Role
Exciting opportunity for orthopaedic and cardiothoracic nurses. Due to a restructure of services we are expanding our services and are offering the opportunity for you to join our amazing team. You will be joining our dedicated team on Murray ward. We are a dynamic, fast paced 30 bed cardiac monitored specialty ward. Focused on pre and post-operative care for our cardiothoracic and orthopaedic surgical patients.
- Providing direct patient care, monitoring post-operative recovery, receiving patients from the Intensive Care Unit

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained nurse with relevant experience in Cardio-thoracic/orthopaedic surgical specialties.
You will also:
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse.
- Experience in critical care areas including Cardiology and surgical cardiac will be beneficial, along with general surgical or orthopaedic experience.
- You will hold a passion for patient centered care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with the Ramsay values.
- You will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential:
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of one year Cardiothoracic/ surgical experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience post graduate acute hospital experience
- Ability to use initiative, work as a team member in fast paced environment
- Be able to respond appropriately to rapid change including sudden alterations in patients’ clinical conditions.
Remuneration: On offer is a full-time equivalent, base annual salary ranging from $75,436.57 - $99,268.14 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA gr1-gr8)
