Castle Equipment is an independent civil construction company providing a valuable supply of quality granite to WA business. We are looking for an experienced Drainer/Pipelayer to join our team. Castle Equipment's head office is located in East Rockingham, travel would be required to Narrogin each week. 2 positions are available for this role of a Drainer.

Applicants should possess the following desirable attributes:

· Experience operator of various Excavators, Loaders, Bobcats and machinery

· Document Control experience

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for:

- Setting out and installing water systems and associated equipment.

- Operating Excavators, Loaders, Bobcats, Trucks and machinery

- Conduct trench excavation and preparation

- Installing plumbing, water supply and water-based fire protections systems

- Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.

- Connect pipes and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue .

- Cover pipes with earth or other materials .

- Fabricate sanitary waste stacks and Cut pipes to required lengths.

- Grade and level trench bases, using machines and equipment

- Install and repair below ground drainage systems

- Lay out pipe routes, following written instructions or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisors.

To be considered for this role a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role would be extremely beneficial.

This is a full time position offering a base salary of $70000-$90000depending on experience.
