- Base Salary 103,185.00 plus 17% Superannuation
About the opportunity
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Education is looking for a Student Placements Officer to join their growing team on a fixed term full-time basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity to use your exceptional administrative and organisational experience to plan, organise, negotiate, and source placements
Currently there is a requirement for this position to be on-site a minimum of 3 days a week, with a 2 day a week hybrid working. Hybrid working options will be decided with your manager if you are successful in this position.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- negotiate, source and coordinate student placements
- liaise with external and internal stakeholders to organise student placements
- provide support to academic staff to ensure placements are effectively managed
- use the placement management software, Sonia, to ensure that placements are being processed and delivered as effectively as possible
- provide support for both students and placement providers to ensure that a high quality, client-focused service is being provided.
About you
- strong administration background, preferably attained in a tertiary environment
- effective and tactful verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stake holders
- strong problem-solving skills
- exhibits initiative and sound judgment
- excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes
- great attention to detail.
