- Project Officer (Environment Officer Class 7)
- Temporary (Up to 27 February 2026) full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity
- Role is located in Parramatta - Hybrid working supported
- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $105,924 to $117,031 + super
We are seeking to appoint a Project Officer to provide technical advice and administrative services that support the successful implementation and delivery of the state-wide Kangaroo Management Program.
The Kangaroo Management Program regulates the commercial harvesting of kangaroos in New South Wales. The program monitors kangaroo populations and sets commercial harvest limits. The Project Officer will support the collection and analysis of data and provide technical and administrative support to a small dispersed team.
About You
To be successful in the role you will have experience in the collection, analysis, storage and presentation of data. You will have experience in the use of databases and software to support licensing administration and preparation of reports, such as Salesforce, Power BI and Fabric. You will be goal orientated and demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Key knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated broad knowledge and/or experience in wildlife management and planning for environmental issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience on the delivery of compliance programs, governance, audits and assisting with routine investigations.
- Demonstrated skills in dealing with complex customer service issues.
Essential requirements
- Current Australian C Class Driver’s License.
