About the role
Due to continued growth, Cire Community School is seeking a motivated and dynamic Assistant Principal to join our Monbulk campus on a full-time basis.
The Assistant Principal will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Monbulk campus, ensuring staff are effectively managed and supported and that policies and processes are implemented effectively and efficiently.
Reporting to the Campus Principal, the Assistant Principal supports the Campus Principal in planning, delivering, evaluating, and improving educational programs within an educational and welfare-based setting that supports some of the most vulnerable and marginalised young people within the region.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold relevant qualifications and certifications, including a four-year tertiary qualification in education and a current VIT registration.
- Have the ability to lead a team in the achievement of educational objectives for vulnerable students.
- Have experience in developing, delivering, monitoring and evaluating high-quality teaching and learning curriculum programs with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Apply a collaborative and engaging approach to get people on board with your ideas and the organisation’s strategy, vision and values.
- Have exceptional communication and relationship management skills that lead to strong, respectful and sustainable relationships being formed across all key stakeholders, including young people and families from different economic, social and cultural backgrounds.
- Have a strong understanding of the support and wellbeing initiatives and programs needed for young people who are disengaged and vulnerable.
- Be a person of high integrity with strong professional boundaries.
- Have the ability to effectively manage processes, procedures, policies and resources.
- Have in-depth knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and ability to adhere, proactively support and implement them at a campus level.
