About the role

Home Aged Care Services is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Croydon, Victoria. In this part-time role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional rehabilitative and restorative care to our elderly clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify their needs and goals

Develop and implement tailored occupational therapy treatment plans to improve clients' functional abilities and independence in daily living activities

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and holistic client care

Provide education and training to clients, families and carers on adaptive equipment and strategies to enhance daily living skills

Maintain accurate and detailed client records and documentation

Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practice in occupational therapy

What we're looking for

Degree or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families and the broader care team

Excellent problem-solving and clinical reasoning abilities
