AusRAMD Engineering is a specialist in the design and manufacture of rail turnouts, delivering high-performance solutions for major rail projects across Australia. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our Engineering Department at our Pooraka facility.

π§© Key Responsibilities
Develop and produce 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for rail turnouts and associated components using Autodesk Inventor.
Interpret project specifications and client requirements, transforming them into manufacturable solutions.
Collaborate with production, machining, and quality teams to ensure design intent is accurately executed.
Review and improve existing designs, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
Support project documentation, BOM creation, and data management.
Participate in continuous improvement activities related to product design, efficiency, and safety.
What You Bring
A Bachelorβs Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Experience with CAD design β ideally in mechanical, infrastructure, or manufacturing fields.
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor is preferred (training can be provided for graduates).
Strong understanding of Engineering principles, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, standards, and drawings.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
