About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Mechanic to help service one of our government contracts across Newcastle and surrounds. Working closely with our workshop supervisor and other mechanics.

This is a very broad role with maintenance, repairs and breakdowns carried out across a broad range of equipment including;

Water Jetters

Light Vehicles

Small to Medium Trucks

Trailers

Loaders / Backhoes

Excavators

Pumps / Generators

Small Equipment - Whipper Snippers, Whacker Packers, Chainsaws etc

This role would be ideal for someone who likes doing something different everyday and has an interest in a broad range of equipment.

Ability to grow within the group of business' to different positions (Leading hand / Supervisor)

Ongoing training and upskilling

Mandatory skills

Trade Qualification's / Certificate of Proficiency

Experience in a similar role

Valid drivers license

Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol testing

Must be able to follow all WH&S procedures and have the ability to work safely

Must be an Australian citizen / resident

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

High risk work license / training (WSAH, Dogging, EWP and forklift).
