Are you an experienced administrator looking for an immediate start in local government? We have an exciting temporary opportunity for a part-time Administration Officer to join the team for a 1-3 month contract.

This role offers a fantastic chance to contribute to the local community, working 3-4 days per week and earning between $43.00 - $47.00 per hour plus super. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and commence as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

As the Administration Officer, you'll be vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-level customer support, efficiently handling enquiries, and escalating matters when necessary.
  • Performing a range of general administration duties.
  • Accurately documenting enquiries and customer service requests to corporate standards.
  • Arranging postage of letters and ensuring all correspondence is filed correctly.
  • Assisting with general meeting setup, including audio/visual equipment and refreshments.
  • Minute taking for various meetings.
  • Efficient diary management.
  • Liaising effectively with internal stakeholders

About You:

  • Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality customer service.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current National Police Check (NPC).
  • Availability to commence as soon as possible.
