The Opportunity

Based in Strathfield South, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to support our fast-paced distribution center. The role is a fulltime permanent position working from Monday to Friday, 4.00pm to 12.00pm. The role is busy and varied and you must have a valid forklift licence. Immediate start.

The responsibilities, but not limited to:

Accurately pick and pack orders ready for transport

Dispatch goods safely to meet orders, timeframe and quality requirements as per NH Foods standards

Maintain an awareness of and report any potential Health and Safety issues/ hazard

Housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse area

Adhere to warehouse and inventory company procedures

Proficiently use computer software and scanners to locate stock orders, check purchase orders, track back orders

Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries

The skills & experience you will need

Adequate levels of physical and mental fitness to carryout manual handling task as required. This role requires regular lifting of up to 27kg.

MUST HAVE a valid LF/LO Forklift Licence

A strong understanding and adherence to workplace health and safety

Possess good interpersonal skills with the drive and capacity to communicate positively with your team

Demonstrate high attention to detail

Basic computer skills - competent with Work, Excel, Outlook

Pallet control experience would be advantageous

Meat/ Beef industry experiences helpful but not essential - We will train you!
