About the Role & Duties

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Final Trim Excavator Operator for a remote civil infrastructure project at Olympic Dam. You will be responsible for:

• Detailed excavation for roads, drainage, services and tie-ins
• Final trimming to line and level using GPS or UTS
• Working around live services with precision
• Shaping batters, culverts, trenches and intersections
• Reading plans and collaborating with survey and site teams
• Machine pre-starts and routine upkeep

This opportunity suits operators with strong final trim backgrounds in remote civil or mining infrastructure projects.

What's in it for You?

• $50/hr flat rate
• 2:1 FIFO (ex-ADL only) or DIDO roster
• Camp and meals provided
• Paid travel time (2 hours each way)
• Secure work through December 2025
• Immediate start from July 2nd

Requirements

• White Card + Excavator ticket (RIIMPO320F or equivalent)
• GPS and UTS final trim experience essential (Trimble or Topcon)
• Civil or mine infrastructure background
• HR licence and VOCs highly regarded
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A testing
• BHP Olympic Dam inductions (highly desired)
