About Us:
The Strathbogie Shire is a vibrant and progressive rural municipality located about two hours from the Melbourne CBD along the Hume Highway. We have diverse and picturesque communities served by townships such as Euroa, Nagambie, Violet Town, Avenel, Longwood, Ruffy and Strathbogie.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual, who takes pride and care in their work to join our Operations team in this integral role.
Tasks that you will be undertaking include but are not limited to, construction, re-construction, maintenance and repairs of roads, bridges, culverts, drainage, footpaths, parks, reserves, gardens and playgrounds.
This role is based in Nagambie.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
To be successful you will have previous relevant experience or transferable skills that align with municipal and/or civil work environments, hold a Medium Rigid licence, be available for after-hours emergency work, and be committed to the safety of themselves and others. Additional licences and experience operating various plant would also be highly regarded.
