Machine Operator, Landscaper

Due to our continued success, and business growth we are looking for an experienced Excavator and/or Posi Track Operator to join our team.

The right candidate will use a Truck/ excavator combo on a range of sites, and have the option of working with our landscape team to build a range of Parks / streetscapes and play grounds.

The role will work closely with the Management Team across multiple projects and will have the following responsibilities:
• Operate 4 tonne Excavator and multiple size Posi Tracks, and other heavy equipment safely and appropriately.
• Work on Parks / Schools / and houses
• We have all brand new Kubota excavators and skid steers
• Operate other heavy equipment and other construction-related duties as required.

Skills and Experience
It is essential that you possess the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years excavator experience
• Minimum 5 years operating Posi Track and tipper trucks
• Minimum 5 years in Landscaping / Construction Industry

• Strong in communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality of work and an ability to meet deadlines
• You must be flexible, adaptable and reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively and efficiently
Mandatory Requirements:
• MR Licence minimum 2 years
• General Construction Induction - White Card
• Flexible outlook and willingness to perform manual handling tasks
