About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our team at Pete's On Upton' in Bundall, QLD 4217. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages for our customers in a fast-paced casual environment. This is a casual role with option to go full time.

Operating hours 6am - 3pm

Sunday will have reduced hours.

What you'll be doing

Preparing a range of coffee and non-coffee beverages to the highest standards

Using professional equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and milk steamers

Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all customers

Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

Assisting with general cafe duties as required

Assist in cooking and preparing food.

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

Knowledge of coffee-making techniques and the ability to operate professional coffee equipment

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A passion for the hospitality industry and providing an exceptional customer experience

Any prior cooking experience will be a bonus
