Role Description:

Vision42 is currently seeking a Senior Developer to join our dynamic team delivering an exciting national project. Under guidance from our Development Team Leader, the Senior Developer will develop changes for the existing solution to support the uplift and extension scope. The 14-month role is an on-site position located in Hobart, TAS.

Requirements:

Considerable experience with development in a DevOps environment with Build Automation (CI/CD) and Automated Testing

Working knowledge of MS Azure and Log Analytics

Skilled in MS SQL, AZ Storage, AZ Service Bus and Rebus for Service Bus

Expert in C#.NET Development

API Integration and web service development experience

Developing in a small team using Agile Development processes

Experience on a project with significant data migration

Proven ability to convert business and data requirements to logical code

The project client requires all workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Applicants will be required to provide evidence of vaccinations prior to commencing work with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide input on technical design and approach of solution components

Coding of solution changes and enhancements to match the defined use cases (requirements), within the boundaries of the existing codebase/architecture

Maintaining and improving existing codebase including updating and enhancing tests

Participate in Code reviews and strictly follow source control processes

Build and undertake unit, system and integration testing

Tracking and reporting task progress and status, escalating issue and risks

Participate in team meeting and discussion to share information

Adhere to defined project standards and solution design

Complete required solution ‘as-is’ documentation

Provide on-going 3rd level support for the Intelligence Uplift solution
