About the role

Polyforce Manufacturing Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Plastic Extrusion Operators to join our team in Geebung, Queensland. This full-time role involves working on a 12-hour rotating roster, providing you with excellent work-life balance.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and monitor plastic extrusion machines to produce high-quality plastic products
• Perform pre-start checks, make adjustments to machinery as required, and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are met by closely monitoring the extrusion process
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production
• Assist with general housekeeping and maintenance of the production area

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Plastic Extrusion Operator or in a similar manufacturing role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment problems
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality output
• Good communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively within a team
• Ability to work efficiently on a 12-hour rotating roster
