About the role

Tempz' is looking for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team in Acacia Ridge, Queensland. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality PVC Pipe products. This is a hands-on role that plays a crucial part in our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

The main focus of the extrusion operator is monitoring the full process from the material dry blend/extrusion line associated equipment through to the finished product.

Monitor the entire process from material dry blend/extrusion line equipment to the finished product.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Operate the forklift using a counterbalance forklift.

Perform quality tests to ensure the product meets the required standards.

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements

What we're looking for

Previous experience as an Extrusion Operator or Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex machinery

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work safely and follow standard operating procedures

Good communication and teamwork skills
