Our client is a well established boutique firm located in Brisbane's southern suburbs. They provide comprehensive financial advice to a broad client base including some not-for-profit organisations.

Due to growth, there is an opportunity for a junior financial adviser to join the team. This opportunity is perfect for someone who has completed their studies and Professional Year (PY), and is looking to develop their career in financial advice. The business will consider high quality associate advisers needing to complete their PY.

• Be involved in the entire advice process, from initial client meetings to overseeing advice implementation and ongoing client contact
• Develop a client base and move into a standalone adviser role
• Ability to work from home 1 day per week

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage a book of clients alongside a senior adviser
• Attend client meetings with senior adviser
• Complete file notes post client meeting
• Develop strategy recommendations
• Handle day to day client management and ongoing relationships with clients
• Liaise with internal paraplanning and admin support

About you:

• Experience as an authorised financial adviser (will consider high quality associate advisers still needing to complete their PY)
• Completed FASEA educational requirements
• Experience attending/running client meetings and developing strategies
• Strong knowledge of financial planning practices and regulations
• Good technical ability
• Exposure to holistic financial advice

Salary is flexible depending on experience, circa $95,000 + super + bonus.
