About Our Client
Our client is a well-established workshop based in Pooraka, specialising in the processing of reinforced metal bar and rod for concrete support systems. They are known for quality workmanship, safety, and delivering to project specifications.

What You Will Be Doing

Operating machines for processing reinforced metal bar and rod of various diameters and lengths.

Setting up and operating off-coil lines, shear lines, robo benders, and mesh machines.

Placing bar into jigs and machines to bend to required shapes and cut to specified lengths.

Producing cages, frames, and supports used in concrete reinforcement.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

CNC experience or knowledge is advantageous and may assist in certain machine operations.

No welding is required in this role.

This is a night shift role 8:54pm - 5am.

Skills/Qualifications

CNC skillset – advantageous

LF Forklift Licence – preferred

Overhead Crane experience – preferred

VOC – training provided on site

Drug and Alcohol Screening – mandatory

What You Will Need

Previous experience operating industrial or mechanical machinery in a workshop environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn various machine types.

Ability to read and follow job specifications and production instructions.

A safety-first mindset and commitment to following procedures.
