About Us

Grafton Mazda is a leading Mazda Dealership in the heart of Grafton, NSW, renowned for delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality automotive care. We are expanding our service department and are seeking a dedicated and skilled Qualified Car Technician to join our dynamic team.
This is a full-time position; however, we are open to discussing part-time or casual arrangements for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, with a focus on Mazda models.

Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.

Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.

Test drive vehicles to ensure issues have been identified and/or resolved.

Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

Report to Service Manager

Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to provide timely and efficient service.

Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques

Maintain workshop tools and equipment, including hoists and wheel balancing equipment.

Assist new and existing apprentices. Help further their skills, knowledge and provide supervision.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have completed an Australian apprenticeship (or equivalent) and hold a trades person certificate.

Experience as a qualified car technician.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication.

Valid driver's license.

Not essential but preferred:

Pink slip certificate

Automotive air conditioning license
