Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) – Acute Care
0.6 EFT - 48 hours per fortnight
Permanent Part-Time | Rochester, VIC
Are you an ANUM looking for a rewarding role in a supportive team environment and in a newly built rural hospital? Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced ANUM to join our Acute Ward, including our Urgent Care Centre.
Following the October 2022 floods, we have rebuilt and modernised our facility, making this an exciting opportunity to be part of our team in Rochester.

To be successful in this role you must have:
Experience as a Registered Nurse in the area of clinical practice within an Urgent Care or Emergency Department;
Advanced assessment, care planning, care delivery and evaluation skills;
Understanding of the concept of person centred care and advanced care planning;
Advanced communication skills;
Ability to teach, coach and mentor staff and students;
Commitment to collaborative practice and productive working relationships;
Ability to reflect on own practice;
Commitment to the ongoing use of Studer principles and tools eg AIDET, Leader rounding.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Registered Nurse qualifications (AHPRA registration)
✅ Ability to work flexibly across all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends
✅ Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
✅ Proficiency in IT systems (email, databases, word processing)
✅ Evidence of ongoing clinical development
