Due to business growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and finalise financial accounts and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.

· Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS statements monthly or quarterly.

· Perform regular reconciliations of client accounts using Xero.

· Assist with ASIC annual statements, late fee monitoring, and related corporate compliance tasks.

· Support compliance and reporting for Single Touch Payroll (STP) and liaise with the ATO regarding adjustments and lodgements.

· Conduct detailed workpaper preparation to support tax and financial reporting.

· Maintain accurate records using Xero, MYOB, HandiLedger, and Reckon One.

· Prepare PAYG summaries and assist with superannuation setup and reporting for individual and corporate clients.

· Communicate with clients to collect information, resolve discrepancies, and provide excellent service.

· Participate in internal training and demonstrate commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Master’s degree in accounting or a related field

· Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role

· Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting principles.

· Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Class).

· High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking.

· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
