Disability Support Worker - Short Term Accomm & SIL
Enhanced Care Association
Posted 4 days ago
Are you experienced in complex supports and looking for long-term employment in an environment that values your unique skillset?
ECA is a family-led organisation that seeks values personalised, quality care over profits.
ECA provides short-term accommodation, SIL and community access supports to young people with complex, multiple disabilities from our residences in Sinnamon Park and Forest Lake.
This role is not exclusively for a SIL house - all support workers will do shifts at both short-term accommodation, day program, and SIL.
We are seeking support workers who have experience in complex care and want long-term employment with a smaller organisation that cares for our participants, their families and our staff.
This role is not suitable for someone who can go only work during school hours.
This role is NOT suitable for people seeking a second job between other SIL sleepovers.
WHY WORK FOR US
ECA is small, not-for-profit disability provider providing supports to just 16 participants. Our board members are the parents of the participants - we are care-focused, not profit driven.
Our management office is onsite. There is no complex bureaucracy of who is supervising, just direct line of communication with an open-door policy.
Annual training week that staff are paid to attend.
Level 2.4 SCHADS, $45.58/hr casual rate for ordinary time and access to salary sacrifice. (to be increased from 1st July as per Fairwork)
This is a great opportunity to join a family-led organisation where you get to know each participant and make a difference in their lives.

From 6am - 6pm, supports are 1:1.
From 6pm - 6am, supports are 1 worker with up to 3 participants staying overnight. This is a non-active overnight shift, with sleep from 10pm - 6am.
Shifts are all based from our sites at Sinnamon Park and Forest Lake.
Participant transport is via our vans (not worker vehicles)
