Active Lifestyle Physiotherapy Sydney has an exciting opportunities to join the expanding team of dedicated physiotherapists in Allambie Heights Working within our Aged Care team.

We are a longstanding leading provider of high quality physiotherapy services in both private practice and aged care.

Our physios work in aged care facilities and private practices across Sydney metro areas, with a focus on quality outcomes and the patient experience.

We are seeking a permanent part time Physiotherapist 10-15 hours a week but do have scope to bring the right candidate on longer hours across other Aged Care Sites we service.

Skills needed:

Bachelor of Physiotherapy OR an equivalent internationally (and APA) recognised qualification

AHPRA Registration

National Police Certificate (can be completed post hiring)

Strong communication skills

Ability to work in a team

Duties/Responsibilities:

Your allied health role will include a variety of services such as:

Physiotherapy/ Allied health treatments

Allied Heath assessments

Exercise prescription and the formulation of care plans

Running group exercises classes

Implementation of a pain management for clients

Correspondence with residents, families, nursing, medical practitioners, allied health practitioners and equipment suppliers

Facilitation of falls prevention workshops, manual handling and other staff education
