The Team:

As a Casual Domestic Services Officer (Cleaner) you will directly contribute to Hospital cleanliness, Infection Prevention and Control, and bed flow in a variety of ways completing in patient room and ward cleaning, discharge cleans and a variety of other cleaning duties such as delivering of linen and waste removal across different areas and wards within the hospital to ensure that the North West Regional Hospital is a safe, clean and welcoming environment for patient's their visitors and colleagues.

The Role:

In accordance with universal precautions and departmental policies and procedures, provide an efficient, safe domestic service including infection control cleaning across relevant wards, offices and residences.

Multi Discipline role, with access to salary packaging and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• You will be using multiple industrial cleaning tools and chemicals, to assist with hospital cleanliness and safety.
• Working in a multidisciplinary role over the entirety of the hospital. (No Patient Care)
• Working in a large team environment, with on-the-job training for each area within the hospital.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, casual, shift work positions available, working as and when required, to commence 15 July 2025 until 31 January 2027.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 per annum, Pro rata. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Agreement (Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022).
