About the role:

• Join a close-knit team of lawyers and support staff working on a steady pipeline of varied insurance matters
• Gain exposure to work involving both volume and technical depth, with opportunities to sharpen advocacy and client engagement skills
• Handle a mix of litigated and advisory work involving liability, indemnity, and complex policy issues
• Draft legal advice and strategic communications for a diverse client base

The ideal candidate:

• A litigation lawyer (3–8 PQE) with experience in insurance law, ideally gained at a defendant-focused firm.
• Is confident in managing insurer and insured client relationships and can juggle competing priorities, and bring strong attention to detail
• A law degree from an accredited Australian or New Zealand university, underpinned by strong academic records.
