PROFESSIONAL GROOMER ROLE:

Are you a dog groomer with a passion for pet care?

MoonDogs Day Spa is looking for a skilled and compassionate Professional Groomer to join our team! At MoonDogs, we provide a holistic approach to pet care, putting first the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of every pet.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair cutting and styling, nail trimming etc.

General reception duties ie, taking phone and in person bookings, welcoming clients, taking payments.

Keep detailed records of grooming sessions and customer preferences.

Communicate with pet owners regarding specific grooming requests or health concerns and to build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment.

Maintaining grooming tools and equipment.

Handle pets with compassion and care, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Work closely with our Head Groomers to continually improve skills and techniques.

Qualifications:

Experience as a professional pet groomer.

Strong knowledge of various breeds and standard grooming techniques.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to lift and handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and care.

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods, lifting dogs, and handling active pets throughout the work day.

Genuine passion for animal care and well-being.
