About the Role

The Scrum Master plays a key role in coordinating delivery across multiple teams within a government service design and improvement branch. Supporting both agile and waterfall methodologies, the Scrum Master will lead key ceremonies, guide team members, and monitor project delivery to improve outcomes in line with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, timelines, and delivery dependencies
• Coordinate sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives across teams
• Track project risks, issues, and actions using RAID logs and reporting tools
• Coach teams in agile frameworks and delivery best practices
• Support backlog management and resource planning across domains
• Ensure governance alignment and escalate delivery concerns as required

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing Agile and hybrid project environments
• Strong knowledge of Scrum practices and team coaching techniques
• Ability to develop and manage product backlogs in collaboration with stakeholders
• Experience using project management tools to track deliverables and dependencies
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Demonstrated ability to build accountable and high-performing teams
