The Company:

Our client is one of Australia's largest food manufacturers, they produce a variety of products across different categories. They are currently recruiting Maintenance Electricians for their Prestons site to work day/afternoon and night shifts.

About the role:

You will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and your responsibilities will include:

• A variety of shifts on offer; days, afternoons and nights.
• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding using PLCs (prior experience necessary)
• Working with variable speed drives, motors, sensors and control panels
• Installation of new equipment and electrical infrastructure

Your background and key skills/certifications:

• A Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory)
• Experience in Food Manufacturing/FMCG industries
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• A proactive approach to safety, understanding of GMP/HACCP principles
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
