A consultancy firm based in the CBD is seeking a Senior Accountant to support them during a particularly busy time of the year. You'll be reporting to the Finance Manager and able to take ownership of the finance function with the support of an accounts officer:

The role:

• Generate and distribute regular weekly financial performance summaries
• Administer full-cycle payroll processing, including superannuation contributions and payroll account balancing for approximately 100 staff
• Assist with compiling year-end financial statements and corporate tax documentation
• Manage the day-to-day operations of both receivables and payables functions
• Coordinate the submission of Payroll Tax and BAS filings

What we are looking for:

• 4-6 year's experience in a Senior Accountant role
• Experience with end-to-end payroll
• Intermediate excel skills - pivots and vlookups
• Comfortable being hands-on
• Strong written communication skills and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in the Automotive industry is desirable
• Experience with MYOB is highly desirable
• Comfortable jumping in and picking things up quickly
