Position Overview:

We’re seeking a proactive Structural Engineer to support the delivery of temporary buildings, awnings, and decking projects, as well as new build projects. You’ll work closely with external suppliers, engineers, certifiers, project managers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution from planning to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare material take-offs and cost estimates (Bluebeam or similar).

Assist with tenders and pricing.

Create, design and interpret site plans (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).

Coordinate with external engineers, certifiers, and site teams.

Conduct site inspections and monitor progress.

Ensure safety, quality, and compliance.

Compile handover documentation and maintain records.

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Structural/Civil Engineering.

White Card (Construction Induction)

2 - 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Skills Required:

Proficiency in estimating and design software (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).

Strong understanding of temporary structures, awnings, and decking construction.

Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Time management and multitasking in fast-paced environments.

Familiarity with construction codes, standards and compliance.

Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
