Parker Hannifin is the global leader in Motion and Control products. We are currently seeking the services of a CNC Machinist to work Day Shift at our Manufacturing facility in Wodonga, North East Victoria.
About the role
As a trade qualified CNC Machinist, you will be able to carry out the daily manufacturing duties in a professional and diligent manner to meet specified customer service and inventory requirements.

Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC Lathes and Mills to complete works orders in a safe, efficient, and timely manner to high quality standards.
Program and modify CNC programs as required depending upon job specifications.
Competently work on manual lathes, mills, drills and saws.
Qualifications/Education:
Trade Qualified Fitter/Machinist or equivalent required.
Previous demonstrated experience in a fast paced, make to order, low volume CNC manufacturing environment.
Setting and programming of CNC Mills and Lathes and manual metal cutting machinery.
Special Skills:
Strong Mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve machining issues to achieve efficient production outcomes.
Ability to work autonomously to plan and organize daily tasks and achieve organizational objectives within set timeframes.
Ability to interpret Engineering Drawings and Specifications to undertake CNC-ISO Programming.
Proven knowledge of tool selection and setting, appropriate for the tasks.
Good time management and housekeeping skills, along with the ability to multitask.
