Apex Freight Solutions are based in Maryborough and deliver mostly in a radius of 450klms of Maryborough servicing builders, landscapers, developers, retail outlets and end users in the South East Queensland region. We also deliver back-freight for outside clients.

THE ROLE:

Role Base: Starting from Maryborough, Queensland

Role Type:

Deliveries to sites/depots/yards locally between Rockhampton and the Gold Coast so you can be at home at night.

Occasional travel to Townsville or Sydney may be necessary.

Monday - Friday, usually very early morning starts.

You will be required to:

Complete all necessary associated documentation

Take good care of vehicles/plant/equipment under your care

Ensure compliance with all work health and safety laws, fatigue management, heavy vehicle operating guide lines, loading requirements, axle weights, and adhering to vehicle specific permits.

Operate a tablet device and any other systems as required & provided.

ABOUT YOU:

To be considered for the role you must have the following experience:

Must have a current MC heavy vehicle licence.

Must have a current HIGH RISK Forklift ticket

Moffett Mounty experience is preferred - Willing to train if necessary

Must have current BFM certificate.

Must be physically and mentally fit for the position.

You will:

Have the ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution

Work well within a small team environment

Be prepared to work in the dispatch yard occasionally if necessary - outdoor work is required.

Be prepared to work varying hours on occasion.

Be willing to undergo medical assessment and drug testing prior to commencement.
