Known for its down-to-earth, award-winning culture and over 450 staff nationally, the firm is seeking an Insurance Lawyer (Solicitor or Associate) to join its high-performing Brisbane team.

Working in the Brisbane office, managing your own business unit in the Insurance and Health sectors, you will work alongside senior Partners on a wide range of public liability and property damage matters.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Manage a diverse range of defendant insurance matters, with a focus on public liability, property, or financial lines Providing timely, commercially focused legal advice to insurers and corporate clients
• Managing a diverse file load across public liability and general insurance matters
• Drafting high-quality pleadings, correspondence, and court documents
• Conducting thorough legal research and staying up to date with relevant case law and legislative changes
• Attending mediations, conferences, and court hearings
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• At least 2 years PAE in defendant insurance (public liability or financial lines highly regarded)
• Strong technical legal skills with a detail-oriented and commercial approach
• A client-focused mindset and proven ability to manage client expectations and deadlines
• Confidence managing your own matters while contributing to a wider team
• A proactive, solutions-driven attitude and the desire to build a long-term career
• Previous exposure to business development or a genuine interest in relationship building
