About the role

Talent Mining and Minerals is seeking experienced FIFO S26 Project Supervisors to join our team for an upcoming project FIFO from Perth, WA for one of our client partners.

In this contract role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects at a Tier 1 Mining Company, ensuring operations run efficiently and safely to meet the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Supervise a team of project staff to ensure the successful completion of mining projects

Develop and implement project plans, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders

Identify and resolve issues or risks that may impact project delivery, taking appropriate action to mitigate them

Ensure all project activities are carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Foster a positive team culture, providing guidance, training, and support to project staff

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities and share knowledge

Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiency

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar project supervisor role within the mining industry

Comprehensive understanding of mining operations, project management methodologies, and relevant legislation and regulations

Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on safety and compliance

Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing project plans, budgets, and schedules

Relevant tertiary qualifications in mining engineering, project management, or trade qualified

About You:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in mining engineering, project management, or trade qualified

Schedule 26 accredited training and BHP inducted – essential

Experience working on BHP sites

Rio Tinto inducted - Desirable

5+ years’ experience in building/construction or mining supervision

Skilled in MS Office and project planning tools

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

WA-based with full Australian working rights
